Consumers want healthier breakfasts: study

Two-thirds of restaurant patrons said they would like healthier breakfast options, Nation’s Restaurant News reported, citing a study by market research firm Mintel. In addition, four out of 10 respondents said their top consideration when choosing a restaurant for breakfast was the healthfulness of the menu options. Convenience is also a factor, the study said.
